To prevent Armaflex from being crushed by wet concrete, you can:

Prepare the concreteBefore applying Armaflex, ensure the concrete is clean, dry, and free of contamination like oils, mould, or flakes. Porous concrete may need to be sealed with a liquid sealant to prevent the adhesive from being absorbed.

Apply ArmaflexAdhere the Armaflex to the concrete using Armaflex adhesive. Follow the recommendations in the Armstrong Armaflex Installation Manual.

Avoid pulling glued jointsWhen sealing glued joints, push them together instead of pulling them.

Allow adhesive to cureWait 36 hours before using the Armaflex or until the adhesive is fully cured.

Expect some wrinklingArmaflex is an elastomeric foam product that may wrinkle slightly due to temperature differences. This is normal and doesn't affect the product's performance.
